About Zeeshan

The engineer behind the calculators

Zeeshan Abbas is the founder and developer of OpsCalculators.com, a free platform of industrial and operations engineering calculators built for engineers, planners and students. Every tool is published in three languages: English, Mexican Spanish (es-MX) and Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR).

His day-to-day work sits in continuous improvement (CIP) and cost at Coats, a global industrial thread and structural components manufacturer. That is where the site comes from: the same takt-time, OEE, EOQ, safety-stock and energy math that drives real factory decisions, rewritten as tools you can use without a spreadsheet or a login.

As a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Zeeshan approaches each calculator the way you would approach a process: define the inputs, verify the formula against a known result, and remove anything that adds friction. Nothing is published until the math is tested and independently reviewed.

Technical Review

Every calculator is reviewed by a Six Sigma Black Belt

Rimsha Nadeem Anwar

Assistant Manager, Industrial Engineering · Coats (Full-time) · Six Sigma Black Belt

All tools on OpsCalculators.com are technically reviewed by Rimsha Nadeem Anwar, an Industrial Engineer and Six Sigma Black Belt at Coats. She checks each calculator’s method, formula and worked examples against standard industrial-engineering practice before it goes live, so the numbers you get match what you would compute by hand on the floor.

How every calculator is built and checked

Build, test, review. Each calculator starts from a standard industrial-engineering formula and is written as a small, pure calculation core that is unit-tested with Node against known results before any interface is wrapped around it. The tool is then published in English, Spanish (es-MX) and Portuguese (pt-BR), with locale-correct number formatting, worked examples and plain-language notes. Before a tool goes live it is technically reviewed by Rimsha Nadeem Anwar, a Six Sigma Black Belt Industrial Engineer at Coats. Content is revised when standards, factors or market conventions change. Every tool is free, needs no sign-up, and runs entirely in your browser.
