Our mission
Industrial and operations engineering runs on a handful of formulas that decide throughput, cost, uptime, and safety. Too many of the calculators online are slow, unsourced, or built to harvest data. We build the opposite: clean, source-verified tools that load instantly on a factory-floor tablet, show their working, and keep your numbers on your own device.
Who operates the Site
OpsCalculators.com is operated by MAFHH INTERNATIONAL LTD, a technology and data publishing company. It is part of a small network of precision calculator sites built by the same team.
How we build trust
- Experience. Our tools are shaped by real plant-floor context: shifts, lines, machines, demand, downtime, and cost, expressed in the units engineers actually use.
- Expertise. Each calculator implements a recognized industrial engineering formula, using Big.js for decimal precision where money or compounding is involved, is tested against known worked examples, and is independently reviewed by a Six Sigma Black Belt before it ships.
- Authoritativeness. Methods reference recognized standards and public sources such as OSHA, the EPA, ISO, ASQ, SMRP, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the GHG Protocol.
- Trustworthiness. Calculations run in your browser, we do not collect the values you enter, and our results are always labeled as estimates, not professional advice.
The people behind the tools
OpsCalculators is built and maintained by its founder and lead developer, Zeeshan Abbas, a Six Sigma Yellow Belt who works on continuous improvement (CIP) and cost at Coats, a global industrial manufacturer. He builds each calculator from primary sources: every tool starts with the governing formula, is implemented in precise JavaScript, is checked against known worked examples, and is updated when the underlying standards change.
Every calculator is then technically reviewed by Rimsha Nadeem Anwar, Assistant Manager, Industrial Engineering at Coats and a Six Sigma Black Belt (LinkedIn), so the method, formula, and worked examples match standard industrial-engineering practice before the tool goes live. We are a free, independent calculator and education platform. We are not a licensed engineering firm, safety consultancy, financial advisor, or law firm, and our results are estimates for planning.
